Dr. Friece graduated from Becker College in 2018 with degrees in Pre-Veterinary Science and Veterinary Technology. In 2022, she graduated from Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a rotating and surgical internship at Ocean State Veterinary Specialists in RI. Dr. Friece worked with VUCC as a veterinary nurse during her education and officially joined the team as a veterinarian in 2023. Her special interests include emergency/critical care medicine and surgery. Dr. Friece participates annually in a One Health spay/neuter project in Mexico, as well as works with a non-profit conservation foundation. In her off-time she enjoys riding her horse Zander, hiking with her dogs, attending live music, and enjoying downtime with her partner and family.
