How It Works:

Schedule a Dental Consultation: We start with a comprehensive evaluation to assess your pet’s dental needs and determine if an anesthetic dental procedure is recommended. Contact your preferred location by phone or email and a member of our front desk team will be in touch:

Get a Personalized Treatment Plan: Our team, led by Dr. Breda in Braintree, Dr. Bleakley in Dedham, Dr. Thomas in Narrangansett, and Dr. Geddes in Plymouth, will walk you through the recommended care—including cleanings or extractions—and answer any questions you have.

Book the Procedure: Once your pet’s care plan is cleared, we’ll schedule their dentistry appointment, all handled in our fully equipped facilities in Braintree, Dedham, Narragansett, or Plymouth.

FAQs:

How often should my pet receive a dental cleaning?

Most pets should receive a dental cleaning once a year. However, this frequency can vary depending on your pet’s age, breed, overall health, and dental care received at home.

How do I know if my pet needs dental care?

If you notice that your pet has bad breath, stained teeth, or swollen gums, or you notice them having difficulty eating, then you should schedule a dental consultation.

Is anesthesia safe for pets?

Yes, anesthesia is safe for pets—especially when administered and monitored by our veterinarians and trained veterinary staff.

Does my pet really need a tooth extraction?

A tooth extraction can relieve your pet from pain and prevent serious infections—leaving your pet in better overall health and comfort. Your pet may need a tooth extraction due to periodontal disease, a fractured or broken tooth, oral tumors, or tooth decay.

Why does my pet's oral health matter?

Poor dental hygiene can lead to serious oral health issues, and can even cause health issues that may impact their heart, kidneys, and liver. Proper maintenance is crucial to ensure your pet’s overall health and longevity.
