Dr. Laura Mahoney earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2017, following her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her journey into veterinary medicine began early. During high school, she attended Norfolk County Agricultural School, where she fostered her love for working with animals at a young age.

Dr. Mahoney’s commitment to veterinary care led her to complete a small animal rotating internship at Tufts VETS in Walpole, MA after graduating from veterinary school, focusing on emergency and critical care. She has since worked as a veterinarian in emergency hospitals, specialty centers, and general practice, where she has honed her skills and has since found her calling in providing urgent care to pets. Her experiences in these diverse settings have equipped her well to provide exceptional care to your pets in urgent situations. 

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her cherished pets. She has adopted three rescue dogs—Dill, Rick, and Cricket—and two cats, named Zippy and Pip. Known for her love of all species, Dr. Laura Mahoney is passionate about providing comprehensive care to furry, scaly, or feathery companions alike.
