Shannon Babyak is a Veterinary Technician and Hospital Manager at VUCC East Providence. She earned a bachelor of arts in Liberal Studies from Westfield State College and found her passion for veterinary medicine shortly after that. After obtaining her CVT she pursued further training and became a specialized technician in emergency and critical care medicine (VTS-ECC). Shannon’s interests include client eduction, team development, polytrauma, resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, and acute treatment of metabolic disease, amongst others. She has extensive knowledge of general practice and emergency medicine, and was the director of an AVMA accredited veterinary technician program. When she is not working, she loves mountain biking, running, camping, and spending time with her family.
