They were amazing with my Dog who suddenly became ill. They were prompt, compassionate, and thorough. They even called twice during the next week to follow up! Can’t say enough about the vucc and their staff.
Went in because I thought my dog had one hot spot and my vet was closed. Turned out his whole body was red. They gave him some medication and he slept like a rock that night after being so itchy he couldn’t sleep. They were so nice and helpful. Everyone was so friendly and made sure all of my questions were answered. They took there time and I didn’t feel rushed. I would recommend this vet to everyone. Big plus that they are not as expensive as regular urgent care vets.
Chewy thanks you guys so much!
My vet was closed when my young dog bit my older dog’s ear. We went to VUC and everyone was fantastic. Dr D’Andrea, the nurse and secretary all took excellent care of my baby. I would highly recommend them.
Two of our cats came down with a respiratory illness that hit them hard. Brought them both in tonight. We received wonderful care from Dr. D’Andrea and her staff. We appreciated her knowledge and clinical reasoning/approach and model of vet care/medicine. Hoping to not require urgent care anytime soon, but will definitely use VUCC again if the need arises. Will also plan to use VUUC for future wellness needs. We highly recommend Dr. D’Andrea and VUCC.
First visit today. Great experience. Staff is friendly efficient & my dog left wagging his tail even after Christine gave him 4 vaccination injections. Also she took time to answer all my questions and offered lots of good info in a unhurried manner. Thanks from Fozzy.
Had a wonderful experience with Dr D’Andrea and her staff at VUCC. We brought our dog in for a paw injury and could not have been happier with the care our dog received and how friendly and professional the staff were. We were brought into an exam room promptly and the office and exam rooms are immaculate – very clean, bright and welcoming. Dr. D’Andrea was great with our dog and didn’t recommend any unnecessary treatments. All in all a great experience and we will definitely be back.
Incredible experience. Our pup got bitten by another dog (very superficial bite) and the entire staff was so warm, welcoming, friendly, and thorough. For urgent care but non-emergencies, we will always come here in the future if our regular vet is closed! So affordable, too!”
Our dogs have been patients of Dr. D’Andrea for the past few years. When we found out she was opening her own practice, we were so thrilled. We drive 45 minutes just so she can continue to care for them. HIGHLY recommend! Dr. D and her staff are the best!
As longtime patients of Dr D’Andrea I am thrilled to have a walk in treatment option for our dogs. Dr D’Andrea has been our primary care doctor for many years and we trust her implicitly.
Wish I went here first- very positive experience all around-felt very confident in the treatment plan and Vet called the next day to check how my cat was doing – best care for your pet!
I took my boy here after he got bit by another dog. They were absolutely amazing and took care of my baby like if it was their own. The front desk girl and vet tech were so sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Papanocholas did such an amazing and clean job with the stitches. I love this place and will recommend it to anyone.
We are so happy with the urgent care center, it has been our go-to when our regular vet can’t fit us in! Dr. D’Andrea is fabulous and the staff are great. My dog loves it here! Would highly recommend.
Dr. D’Andrea and Dr. Papanicholas are so thorough and caring. I believe their thoroughness saved my dog’s life. They are accommodating, kind, compassionate, and bright. What a fantastic clinic and remarkable clinicians. I am so grateful for their attentive care and to have them in my neighborhood.
My beloved Tokyo had a terrible accident. I was so concerned and stressed out. I searched for a place that was open on a Saturday night after 8:00 pm. We called the Veterinary Urgent Care Center in Quincy and the assistant whom answered the phone was very calm and knowledgeable. Tokyo was seen right away first by the nurse – who by the way was so great with him. I can’t even describe how they helped him calm down and made both of us feel so welcomed. Then he was examined by Dr. D’Andrea who is Simply The Best a true “GOD SENT”! Dr. D’Andrea is very professional and caring and I will never go anywhere else for Tokyo. She has a patient for life after tonight. It is a wonderful urgent care center that goes above and beyond. Very competent, courteous, personable, and the quality of care is excellent. They are extremely affordable and if you have ever been to an emergency pet clinic you pay at least $150.00 to be seen. Then you pay for all other services needed. To be seen at VUCC it is almost half of that price so you can already figure how your money is going such a longer way towards the care of your pet at the Center. The clinic is immaculate, pleasant and conveniently located. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate my needs and all are very proactive in the care of pets.
When I walked in I was really impressed with how clean the place was. They were all very nice. My cat took to each person who tended to him very well. They were very calm and welcoming and put you at ease and explained everything in detail so you understood exactly what was going on. I would definitely recommend them.
URGENT CARE for pets, this is THE PLACE TO GO! Veterinary Urgent Care Center is pet nirvana when it comes to pet urgent care, it is the place to go when your pet doesn’t need all of the services for life threatening conditions of a pet emergency department. Dr. Christie D’Andrea has taken care of our dogs for many years, and has consistently provided our dogs with skilled, compassionate, expert care. I think she’s the first in the Boston area to open the veterinary equivalent of a human Urgent Care Center (like CVS Minute Clinic), Veterinary Urgent Care Center has hours when your Veterinarian’s office may be closed or they are unable to fit you into their schedule. In my experience, the Pet Emergency Departments in the area charge $150.00 to walk in the door, plus, plus, and plus. Veterinary Urgent Care Center is a much more affordable alternative, with expert veterinary care. We’d return to see Dr. D’Andrea, without giving the thought more than a second of thinking. I highly recommend Veterinary Urgent Care Center in Quincy.
Highly recommended. Brought our GSP to VUCC Plymouth after she cut her pad open this weekend. Our vet was unable to see her for several days. We called ahead and the staff was wonder from the beginning! Benelli was quickly evaluated (we could not go in with her) and had a treatment plan in less than 30 minutes. She was sedated and sutured promptly. Total cost was very reasonable compared to other recent experiences.
Came in twice for separate incidents with my dog. He was treated right away. Very professional, very caring and clean facility. Thanks you all for taking care of MOMO!
Jax has been seeing Dr. Christie D’Andrea for over two years and she has treated him well. This is a doctor that understands Jax and his temperament and has a great ability to put Jax at ease, which puts me at ease. Thank you Dr. D’Andrea!
The girl behind the desk, Dianna had a very sweet temperament which my dog Lilly and I found to be calming seeing how we came with a little worry. Dr. Zepernik was very professional and super kind. They were honest when it came to the payment and very reasonable price compared to other walk-in vets I have been to. I would recommend to family and friends and return again if I need to.
The staff is so nice and I always appreciate the follow up to call the next day ti ask how my dog is doing. In my opinion, That’s EXCELLENT customer service above and beyond.
Perfect environment！Perfect doc and staff！I went here today at 6pm because my dog was limping yesterday and this morning. You don’t need to make the appointment ,just walk in and they will take care of you and you pet immediately. The cost is much cheaper than the other emergency services. The doc is very nice and answer all my questions patiently.
I cannot say enough nice things about Veterinary Urgent Care Center on Quincy Ave.
My cat was limping tonight and seemed uncomfortable, but our regular vet was already closed. I found VUCC through a google search for nearby emergency vets, and was able to book an appointment right on their website.
The facilities are state-of-the-art, the staff is lovely and the cost was much less than we would have paid at an emergency vet. Plus, they have hours every day and are there until 10 Monday-Saturday.
Kitty is now high as a kite, I got to see what a cat tail looks like on an X-ray and we are likely dealing with a sprained kitty ankle (not the ACL tear that we originally suspected). Had we had to wait until tomorrow to have him seen, I would have been a basket case.
Highly, highly recommend this practice and I think they fill a really important void in pet care!
It was first time here today and I was greeted amazingly and with so much kindness. They made every easy for me to understand of my cat’s condition and got me in and out within 30 minutes with nothing left to do. What surprised me was the price… I expected it to be quite expensive, especially when it’s with all the vaccines and other shots, but it was not expensive at all. I can’t wait to go back. My cat took a liking with our doctor and nurses!!
First time visit to VUCC this evening and it was fantastic! My dog, Mac, had a double ear infection and the vet we usually bring him to had no availability until next week. The vet tech brought us into a room as soon as we checked in and didn’t need to wait long to be examed by Dr. D’Andrea. The price of the visit along with antibiotics was very reasonable. The hours at VUCC are great too as I work during the week and can’t usually take off for vet visits. Highly recommended if you want professional service for your furry friend at a price that won’t break the bank! Thanks again!
My husband & daughter brought my very sick baby in to your office on Sunday. She was scheduled for emergency surgery on Monday & I am 100% convinced she wouldn’t have made it without your care.
Our vet had prescribed oral antibiotics but she wasn’t eating or drinking & could not keep them down.
Your office gave her fluids & a shot of antibiotics & she pulled through. She’s 13 so we really didn’t know how it would turn out but they were extremely comforted & said the vet that treated her was very kind & encouraging so thank you for that.
I’m attaching a picture of her with my husband when he went to visit her on Tuesday (twice LOL)!
She came home yesterday & our family is once again complete! I have already recommended your office to others.
I tried to get an appointment with my regular vet and was told they didn’t have an opening until Thursday ( 4 days away) and they would waitlist me. I had heard about the Veterinary Urgent Care Center (VUCC) on Quincy Is Everything. I went online and was able to schedule online and get a same day appointment. I called to make sure the price was not excessive and was happy to learn the visit price was more than $40 less than my vet was going to charge for an urgent visit. I was very happy with the friendly staff and with Dr. Christie D’Andrea. They were able to perform the lab test on site and tell me results before I left.
